John Antalek, Eyewitness NewsLOS ANGELES (WABC) -- A visitor to the Los Angeles Zoo jumped over the fence to play a dangerous game of "chicken" with a couple of elephants. It was all caught on camera.
The woman hopped several barriers to get a closer look at the elephants, getting close enough to pet the pachyderms.
The spectacle stunned onlookers.She spent five minutes in the sanctuary before retreating.
Police took the woman to a mental health facility.
